I’m a philosopher working primarily on moral theory, with a burgeoning research interest in the ethics of artificial intelligence.

I’m currently a lecturer in the philosophy department at Stanford. Previously, I’ve held other positions at Stanford, including a fellowship in the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society (in partnership with Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence).

Before coming to Stanford, I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh.
